"The Creek Course becomes 12th BEST public access course in Australia"
36 holes of golf at Thirteenth Beach has become a reality with the opening of The Creek Course by Nick Faldo on 9th February 2004. Faldo who co-designed the course with leading Australian golf architect Tony Cashmore set the inaugural course record shooting 69 with six birdies in the first 10 holes.
"The mission with The Creek Course was to give people a variation, players will enjoy that we've got big long sloping fairways and if they're looking for a bit of strategy, they are going to enjoy themselves. I like building a challenge, that's what excites me as a designer", Faldo said.
The winner of six majors added, "The beauty down here is that you have two totally different styled golf courses. The goal with The Creek Course was to provide something which really complements The Beach Course".

According to Cashmore, The Creek Course "has the feel of the very best of Melbourne's sand belt through its gently rolling terrain and broadly separated fairways." Nick Faldo is equally excited about the project, suggesting that Thirteenth Beach will become one of Australia's "must visit golfing destinations".
Thirteenth Beach Golf Links is set to become one of Australia's most unique golf sites. It is very rare to find a golf complex that has two golf courses that differ so much from one another, yet offer the same high quality golfing experience.
Thirteenth Beach Golf Links is one of those brilliant sites that you could play everyday for a month and still come back wanting more.
